What materials are most suitable for construction on the island of Bali considering the high humidity and climatic conditions?

How do you address the issue of protecting buildings from moisture and mold?

We apply specialized methods of waterproofing, natural light optimization, and cross ventilation system  to prevent moisture penetration and mold formation. For effective foundation waterproofing, we use materials such as asphalt, geomembrane layering system, HDPE liner , and always incorporate additives into the concrete mix. We also recommend using special paints and wall coatings to provide additional protection against moisture, and prevent moss, crack, and fungus appear.

What are your recommendations for maintaining a new building on the island of Bali?

We recommend regular technical maintenance and care for the building, including checking the roof for leaks, cleaning drainage systems, and periodic painting or updating of protective coatings. It is also important to monitor the condition of wood and other materials susceptible to the effects of moisture and sunlight, and to carry out necessary repairs in a timely manner.
